ROBOT WARS video premiere
We're happy to announce that we have a brand new video to share with you tonight! It's called Robot Wars which is a song from our upcoming album release. Yes, we're releasing our debut album in a few short months in July, and we'll keep you posted with all those details soon enough. But for now, please check out Robot Wars!

Tasty restaurant in Bucktown
We recently shared the stage at Cobra Lounge with the band Estrella Negra. It just so happens that the singer of the band, Otoniel, is also the owner of the very popular restaurant in Bucktown by the same name. We checked it out last night, and it was pretty dang good! The decor was super cool and we were actually pretty surprised by the healthy choices on the menu. The Mexican restaurant uses whole wheat spinach tortillas for several of its meals. Paul tried 'La Luna Chicken Goat Cheese Quesadilla' which was devoured in its entirety. Ivan couldn't stop raving about the restaurant's amazing Pozole, which is a spicy homemade chicken soup. So, check it out if you haven't. Don't take our word for it though. We weren't so inclined to check it out until seeing the several 4 star reviews on Yelp. Plus it's right next door to one of our favorite bars/music venues, Quenchers. Look for this image on the marquee.
In music news, our next show is at Weeds Tavern (1555 N. Dayton St, Chicago, IL) on Thursday May 26th, with our good friends Bad Bad Meow. Also performing is the very talented Natalie Grace Alford. Hope to see you out and talk to you soon!

Design Our Logo Contest!
Hi Pinto and the Bean friends!
It's contest time, so let's get right to it. We're in the process of searching for a band logo. So now is YOUR time to get creative and think up any logo ideas you have for our band "Pinto and the Bean". Do you have any friends who would be interested in this? Please pass this blog post along to them. What kind of imagery pops into your head when you think of our band name? Do you visualize any letters, pictures, or both? Be as creative as you want to be. You're only limited by your own imagination. We can't wait to see what you come up with, and we'll keep this contest going for 3 weeks (until May 22nd) until we find a logo that's groovier than the Brady Bunch. We plan to use this logo everywhere, including our upcoming debut album (more news on that in a future email). If you want to see some samples of logos other bands have used, check out the pictures at the bottom of this email for inspiration.
